Delete my account
You can delete your Meloddy account at any time, without contacting support. Two paths:
1. From inside the app (recommended)
- Open the Meloddy app.
- Go to the Account tab.
- Scroll to the Legal section and tap Delete my account.
- Read the warning, type DELETE in the confirmation field and tap Delete account.
Deletion is processed immediately. You are signed out and taken back to the welcome screen.
2. Via support (if you can't access the app)
If you can no longer sign in, email support@scaledev.online with:
- Subject: "Delete account — <your email>"
- The email associated with the account;
- Reason (optional, helps us improve).
We will confirm and process the deletion within 5 business days.
What is deleted
- Your profile (name, email, Apple/Google ID);
- All generated songs and their audio files;
- Unused credit balance;
- Usage history and drafts.
What is retained
- Payment records are kept for 5 years to comply with Brazilian tax obligations. These records do not allow identification of content created or in-app behaviour.
Important: active subscription
Deleting your Meloddy account does not automatically cancel an auto-renewable subscription. Cancel the subscription in the store where it was purchased first:
- iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Meloddy → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Meloddy → Cancel.
