1. About Meloddy

Meloddy is a mobile app that creates personalized songs with artificial intelligence. You provide details about the recipient and the moment (name, relationship, story), and our AI composes the lyrics, melody and mix in just a few minutes.

2. Nature of the Service

The deliverable is exclusively:

Not provided: separate stems (vocals/instruments), sheet music, chord charts, files in other audio formats, or any physical material. Songs may be shared from the app via a public link.

3. 100% Digital Product

You acknowledge that the product is entirely digital, delivered inside the app. No physical item is shipped.

4. Billing Models (In-App Purchases)

Meloddy offers two payment models, both processed exclusively by the official stores (Apple App Store and Google Play):

5. Auto-Renewal and Cancellation

Subscription payments are charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account upon confirmation. The subscription auto-renews at the same price at the end of each period (week or month) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Cancellation is done directly in the store settings:

Cancellation remains in effect until the end of the period already paid for — after that, renewals stop. Meloddy cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf, since this control belongs exclusively to the store.

6. Refunds

Refunds are processed exclusively by Apple or Google, according to each store's current policies. Requests must be submitted at:

Meloddy has no technical or legal authority to process refunds directly. If you experience a delivery issue (technical generation failure), contact support so we can investigate and, where applicable, reinstate the credits consumed.

7. Right of Withdrawal

For users in jurisdictions that grant a right of withdrawal (such as the EU's 14-day right or Brazil's 7-day right under the Consumer Protection Code), the right does not apply to digital products that have already been generated and delivered, since they are made-to-order and not reusable. For subscriptions, cancelling via the store stops future renewals.

8. Intellectual Property

Once a song is generated, usage rights are transferred to the customer for personal, non-commercial purposes — gifting, sharing on social media, using in personal videos, etc. For commercial use, please contact us.

Meloddy reserves the right to use snippets or references to generated songs for institutional promotion and portfolio purposes, without identifying the customer, unless explicit authorization is granted.

9. AI-Generated Content

Songs, lyrics and arrangements are produced by artificial intelligence models. Output may contain imperfections, repetitions or unexpected interpretations of the prompts you provide. You understand and accept the probabilistic nature of the generation process.

10. User Conduct

You agree not to use the service to generate content that:

Accounts that violate these rules may be suspended or terminated, with retention only of the records legally required.

11. Account and Deletion

You can delete your account at any time directly in the app, under Account → Delete my account. Deletion removes your profile, songs, credits and usage history. Payment records are retained for 5 years to comply with tax obligations. See the Privacy Policy for details.

12. Limitation of Liability

Meloddy is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the service, including data loss, lost profits or business interruption. In case of service failure, liability is limited to the amount paid by the customer in the current period.

13. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable notice inside the app or by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of the company's registered office, with express waiver of any other forum.
